a track from my EP

Post by dmbguitar718 »

i've posted this track before (when i recorded it in my dorm), but this a much more fleshed out and professionally recorded version. it's about 90% done. there are just some edits and mixing that need to be done still. and of course it isn't mastered yet.

Wow. Blown away. I haven't heard you sing in a while. That was phenomenal, like a cross between Damien Rice and Ben Kweller. The production was really solid. All real instruments or midi?

thanks a lot. those are all real instruments. my guitar, a steinway grand piano, and my friend who plays the cello. the atmospheric track was me playing a harmonic on the 12th fret high e (e) then another track of me picking the 9th fret high e (c#). we put infinite delay on it, a bunch of reverb, reversed them, took out a bunch of fidelity, and voila, we have this gorgeous background setting.
