lost interest
i have lost interest in guitar, and it seems so with everything else. has anyone had this feeling? it has persisted for about a month now. i started playing piano like crazy all day long every day for about a week, and i have lost interest in music in general. i'm just sick of the same stuff everywhere. i think its western music, or something just has really not caught my eye as new to me. ive written songs on each instrument i play, and i only really like one for each instrument. has anyone gone through this? is this a phase?? i hope to whoever so, because music used to be my passion. i would get all of my aggression, sadness, basic emotion out on my guitar, and now adays it just is not cutting it. i feel so despondent without it.

I am about to be right there with you. I have only been playing for a few months, but my instructor is a joke and I don't feel like I am progressing. I guess I will jut have to force myself through the slump and keep at it. Good luck with the ivory.
