Yeah I mean, My Chemical Romance, Kid Rock, Avril Lavigne? I would like to stay optimistic and give the guy a chance, but look at the history. With Ballard, what was on his resume was what you got, a full blown pop rock record and then with Batson we got a hip hop inspired record perfectly in keeping with his past work so I'm not all that confident with this move.

I'm surprised they kept Rob Cavallo on. I sat next to him at night 2 of the Hollywood Bowl last year knowing he was there to check out the band and possibly produce the next album.

He knew NOTHING about DMB or their music. Didn't seem too into anything and left halfway through the show.

He was given a setlist before the show started and seemed thrilled and honored to be given that, but otherwise, he sat the whole time and really seemed to have no clue what was going on.
