I heard that LT 7 and 8 didn't sell that well because they were more for the hardcore fan and now they are trying to go the mainstream route with these SU and cover filled shows. They need to realize that nobody but the diehard fan cares about these things and also that there really aren't that many diehard fans left anymore so they shouldnt be surprised when sales are poor.
