I know questions on singing have been asked...

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

But I've been having trouble keeping the actual song(even really easy songs such as so much to say, ants marching, two step and typ. situation) going along with my singing.. I can sing the song fine, can play the song fine, put them together and they just clash..
anyone have any help on timing?

Oddly, I can sing and play the stone :x

I think it might be a bit hard to get some feedback on this unless we know what you sound like....
I think you're best bet would be to post a recording in the rec and crit forum, i'd be glad to help anyway I can..

I can't sing to most of it yet either. But I find the more I try to sing and play...the easier it gets...

Practice......and then practice sumore.

And then....practice more.

and some of those songs you picked are hard to sing and play with
I think people think that maybe theres more chance I'll play if they sound mad and I'm like you guys are just pretending, I know why you go to the gym its for the steam room big boy, come in here with that '41' stuff, I see through that tiger DM 3-19

youve got to get to the point where you can play the song without thinking about it, honestly I dont know any other way to do it. If you have to think about where the next note or chord is youre gonna be in trouble always. Ive been working on the stone for weeks now and still cant quite get it, but its getting better...
