Stripped truss rod

Hey guys, quick question. I was told i stripped the truss rod in my guitar from years of doing it by myself. I called guitar center where I got it from and they said to contact martin. I have yet to take it to a guitar store and have them look at it to tell me if thats for sure what is wrong but from numerous phone calls, thats what they claim. I was curious if you guys are familiar with martins warranties at all or what not. Or what I should do? If there really is anyting i can do. Maybe i should post this on the martin forum but i couldnt find it. If someone could point me to the martin trading boards would be great too. THanks
