Want to ask about strings, maintenance, amps, mics, or comparisons of different guitars or any music equipment? This is for all threads related to music equipment.
Looking to get started (or back into) playing and on the verge of purchasing a new guitar. I've been doing some research, reading various forums, visited several local guitar shops etc. Looking to spend some where in the $150 - $200 range.
Any advice/suggestions/opinions regarding brand, model, style (dreadnaught vs. cutaway)?
you can get a rogue dreadnaught and a mandolin for 100 bucks. fuckin do eet

well technically it was my 2nd guitar but i don't consider a fender squier a guitar
Better than a lot of guitars I know!
EDIT: Well, not many...
my buddy has a squier strat and a gibson sg. he still somestimes picks up that squier over his sg. it is at that point that i kill him.
