Whenever I crack my fingers it seems that they are stiffer and I cant play as fast. So i try not to crack my left hand too much.

My cousin is in his final year of residency specializing in joints and bones, and he swears this is a crock of shit.

it is a wives tale, a friend of the family is a doctor, i asked him, he said it didnt cause any damage, all it is is built up air pockets in the knuckles and cracking just breaks up those air pockets.

Well I dont know. Whenever I crack mine my knuckles get red. So obviously something is bad is happening. And I know that my fingers are stiffer whenever I crack them too. So whether it causes long term damage, I dont know, but short term definately.
