Most of them are fine, but some of them are just absolutely huge. Is there anything doable to clean it up? I shouldn't have to scroll my entire screen to get past one post, and plus sometimes they get hung up loading and take a bit longer than it should.
you could just give a maximum amount of pixels that the sig is allowed to be and punish people that don't abide.

can we just set up the signature part in the profile just like the av, maybe not offer to upload an image, but set it to that people have to link it to an offsite image and it has to fit into a cartain size.

Well, it doesn't make the boards slower, but it does make the boards appear slower to people browsing them, especially if their browser is set to wait rendering the page until all the data is downloaded.
