After the Angel incident [/b](that’s a nice way of saying debacle), the word is out that some songs are more greatly desired than others. The band’s illuminati know that we like Raven, Big Eyed Fish, Drive In Drive Out, Proudest Monkey, and Minarets more than they thought. The band is aware of that too (or at least now they are), but it ultimately comes down to the 5 +1 (+Ross).

If I had to guess from the first post.

DMB played Angel at shows [39 in 2001] but didn't realize people didn't care for the song. Instead they could have been playing songs that people wanted to hear but DMB didn't think they were popular enough or well liked by the audience.

I have heard similar opinions (absymal, horrible, crap,etc) before and thought it was the popular opinion, so I was just commenting on that.
I realize it wasn't mentioned in this particular thread but I have heard it numerous times in other threads/forums.
