I like how this interviewer knows what he's talking about. Even if you aren't a European, read this article, there is some good stuff about Stand Up, Dave and Friends, and new albums.

was sort of like we were in the shallow end and so there’s so much more. So we’re already in the studio writing with him and we’ve been having a blast, just time off, and the summer after I go [back] out to the states we’ll go on the road and play a bunch of the music. Try and mix it up.

From nancies.org.uk (dont ask me the link lol...i dont have it):

Code: Select all

More Dave? You bet...
16th of May 2006 at 7:27am

Dave's attitude towards touring the UK has changed quite concisely over the past few months. He's gone from announcing a small, intimate UK show and discussing perhaps coming back a couple of more times to do it solo again, to announcing a larger UK tour and talking about definitely coming back to the UK.

Now, after 3 successful dates in the UK, Dave seems almost positive that he's coming back not only solo again, but also with the band. DMScotland from Nancies.org caught up with Dave and got the following information out of him:

"He said that he's coming back to the UK himself again in September where he is planning to cover more venues, then he is coming back with the band in the spring once the new album has been released."

Dave also mentioned last night that he'd be returning with 3 people; this is more likely during the second round of solo dates he's planning for September (which don't sound so solo anymore), but it's anybody's guess who it could be. Tim, Trey and Carter would be a fantastic show for sure.

It looks like the future's bright for UK fans... "
