LaLC Appreciation Thread

Post by Hydro120 »

I recently just purchased this CD. Had I not, i would have never heard such great songs as Little Thing, Christmas Song, Granny, and for that matter, a deeper appreciation of #41.

Best CD purchase to date!

Appreciate this CD! :D

not on the first page. and 2 things

1) this forum doesn't get enough activity that it would go through an entire page worth of threads in a day or 2
2) i dont revive old threads

I just wanted to chime in and appreciate L@lc along with you since the only other person responding is wasting kanters money by not discussing the topic at hand.(gonna get bitched out for that one  )

Anyway, there isn't a song on that cd that i don't love. Every version of every song was played to its perfection. I collect a lot of shows and i've heard tons of d+t shows but luther college was soo perfectly executed. Even the crowd was good  By far my all time fav. show to play along with.(although the coffee prism house show is pretty sweet)

I was gonna discuss my favorite song of the album in this paragraph but instead i'm just gonna say that i don't have a favorite cause there all amazing. Well, i'm sure i'm gonna get bitched out by the guy with the awesome "zwan" avatar(long live Billy Corgan!!) but oh well.

Night all.

I love acoustic shows and I love Dave Matthews. So L@LC is the best CD I've ever heard. I love the deepness, the sound of the guitars, Tim's fills and solos, Dave's voice, everything.

I love to play along with the CD and right now I'm trying to play along Tim's solos. (I remember someone here that didn't like Tim's solos at all... :) )

All the songs are great, but I've to say that #41, Tripping Billies and Crash are my favorites. Besides, I usually show Crash to anyone who doesn't know DMB... They all end up asking me for the entire CD. :)

I think this thread is quite nice, by the way.

What about The Prism Show?? I think the Prism Show definetly rivals Luther. I agree that Luther is the greatlive release (Next to ListSup)...but The Prism Show is an intimate show..its the second time D&T have played together and they are spot on.
