My guitar is all cracked up..have a look. It fell flat, soundhole down and scared the crud out of me. If you guys could let me know how this is going to effect the sound. It also looks like the crack is spreading. Its a Washburn guitar, but its my first and my baby so I'm concerned. Thanks!
I think if you took it to a luthier they would be able to fix it for you. From what I know the headstock and the neck arent all one piece, so im sure the luthier could take it apart reglue it, and it would be good as new.

Oh man I would be shitting bricks... Anyway, don't worry, I think a glue job is in order and you will be back to normal. Untill then, I would losen the string a little but not all the way.

Really? I was wondering if loosening the strings would stop the crack from spreading..cause i swear it is spreading. I still wanna play it cause its the only guitar I have, and its driving me crazy not playin. I guess it must rest for a while though

Washburn D8...solid spruce top, mahog sides. My first guitar about 2 1/2 years ago about 230 bucks or so..it sounds like a gem..but i really think that it sounds weird now cause the cracks...Might be just my mind tho. Got a lot of sentimental value to me...my first baby.
