Joy Ride Chorus

Hey everyone, I know this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to get the timing of the Joy Ride chorus down. If someone could up a video or explain it to me I would appreciate it. Thanks.

Welcome! I can't post a vid, but all I can really say is listen to the song with headphones really closeley. Also, if you have a live recording, you might be able to hear more guitar. Try that out.

Yeah, I think that's a close second. Although I've heard acoustic versions which weren't that bad.

I, and many on here, think that it's not a close second, but far and away in first place with Joy Ride no where near it. People have opinions though and that's cool. It's just weird to me is all.

i love the song. i think the lyrics are pretty cool for the sound of the song. It sounds so cheery but he lyrics are very satirical (dont know if thats the right word)

play it with you own variation because it isnt a song really intended to be played solo, so you probably need to improvise.

here's the I did it demo before it even came out. this one really made me want to cut off my ears. I don't even think its even english its mainly scat, well both meanings of scat.

Listen for Butch's organ parts. The timing of the guitar corresponds to this. That should help you out.
