hey i've never been able to post, and i originally posted my site on the wrong page but it didn't get moved over to "critique" section... anyway, if you want I covered "you never know" and put it on my web page.. it's capo'd on the first fret...i love this song...from my living room in February...check it out

thanks guys...yeah, regretfully i don't have any better recording stuff..and i just spent like $1200 on a matrix traveling sound system, so i don't have enough to get some good recording stuff right now...thanks for the feedback...

this is not raised b tuning...i have a capo on the first fret...one thing i've learned over the five years i've been trying to sing and play, is to not try and sing like Dave...so i capo a lot of my dave covers on the first fret...my tripping billies cover is also capo'd on the first fret... it's a lot easier to adjust to your own vocals, than someone elses...naturally i've learned my pitch is different so i've tried to adjust...give me a while and i'll try to tab what i play for this one...it may take a few days cuz i'm crazy busy with work...i'll get to it though

two things, first I can't listen to it because my Firefox is missing a plugin, so how do I get that; second how did you make your site? Its free right?

really if you have windows media, realplayer, or anything that can support similar soundclips, you should be able to listen to it...sometimes you may have to refresh the page...

the website is http://www.freewebs.com ...the site is free for a 50MB website... i payed $42 for the premium plan which allows you 200MB...i figured since it's going to be sort of a hobby, i would spend the extra $42 for a year's worth

wow, i'm surprised you remembered that... that's impressive

unfortunately i can't update that things are great...I did my best, even opened up to him a lot, but he's got a social anxiety problem... my buddy Steve and I realized that he's terribly scared of social situations... when we had a 'brother to brother' talk, i tried not to walk that self-righteous line, but also told him he needs to do something about it...he even admitted it... that was about 6 months ago... he's done nothing...unfortunately I don't have time to deal with it like i did before...between my new job, girl, friends, and music i just can't be the saving grace.... so i invite him on a weekend to come out, and he always just calls me back the next morning

it's really sad... but i have no answers anymore, and honestly i just can't deal with it... he's certainly not as personable as he used to be

I added the tab to the first thread...i pretty much leave the e&b strings open (except for in the 1st bridge, i sort of mute those)

just mess around with the strumming and you'll get it...it's a pretty fun song to sing and play
