Interesting challenge/idea

I think it would be a cool idea if we took our favorite Dave songs and wrote new music for them. Keep the exact order of the lyrics, but sing them any way and length you wish. Write new music. So you're writing a new song, but only keeping Dave's lyrics, but make them your own. Make Crash a fast tune or make halloween have "pretty" music. I think some people on these boards could do a good job on it.

what if we use DMB lyrics, and another band's music. Cause I want to do Busted Stuff's lkyrics over moe.'s Hi & Lo, it fits so well it sounds sweet

This isn't a contest, so no deadline. When you get it, post it. I don't want any pressure or any egos flying. I want to hear all of them just to hear them. Again, whenever you get it, post it. Kahn, that sounds fine too, just make sure that you say exactly what is laid down. Thanks everyone!

ohh im gonna do this for sure, there are some songs whos lyrics are too beautiful with guitar parts that i dont particularly like... im psyched!
