maybe hard question :wink:
but what music are you listening to except from DMB, D+T, D+F
my frieds are just shaking heads "not another DMB conversation" but i HAVE TO listen to this music.
somehow i feel as if there would be no equal music to this....
so what would you tell me to get (a bit) OFF this DMB trip?

I've been listening to the Rent soundtrack a lot the last few days...such a cool story. It's worth picking up if you're not familiar with it.

I would also recommend Pink Floyd, Craig Cardiff, Pilate, Bob Dylan, Damien Rice, Jack Johnson, David Bowie, Radiohead...

broadway cast recording> movie soundtrack

just thought id send in the information. but i think for most people here id suggest the movie one cause its more rock music type thing.

thanks guys but with the stuff you wrote i'm through (i knwo it isnt possible to be throug wiht pink floyd) but i've heard them all.....
i dont want to step BACK i want FORWARD!!! thats what makes it hard...
this rent soundtrack i will check...in generally soundtracks are often good, especially from quention tarantino or robert rodrigues films OR the films from this guy who married madonna, all rather good soundtracks

but i need a band

:lol: My friends do the same thing. I havent listened to anything else for almost 6 months now, maybe more.

I've recently picked up Bela Fleck & The Flecktones, though. They're pretty cool but I always fall back to DMB after a few listens. I think I'm addicted :cry:

Dream Theater is very decent too but like the flecktones, its just not enough to pull me out.

Let me know if you find a way out cause we're in the same maze :?
