is dave "WRITING" his songs?

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

I seriously doubt Dave tabs his own songs, because personally I've come up with stuff myself but I just remember it, and don' t write it down. I'm pretty sure Dave does it that way, and the solos and jams are mostly improvised with sounds they have come up with.

im sure both of them have it in their head. especially for a song they have played thousands of times (like ants, that part where leroi has that one riff toward the end...he could play that in his sleep)

I almost guarantee you that he scribbles at least a basic outline of his songs down. I mean seriously, the band has what, over 40 songs?
