I was bored so I wrote and recorded an original

I'm bored and waiting to eat dinner, so I expanded on a riff I had in my head and wrote some lyrics right quick. About 15 minute effort, but let me know what you think. It will take 2:30 minutes of your time

I like the riff. I don't know if I care for the melody line though that much. Since this was only a 15minute effort give it some time and develop the vocal line, and this could sound pretty good

It sounds 10x more like Keller than it does Umphrey's, in fact, nothing about it resembles any UM song. I like the guitar work, vocals sound pretty good too, but like someone else said, I'm not a huge fan of the vocal melody. Maybe try reworking that.

If you don't want to listen to a recording then don't...but don't make an idiotic post that nothing good can come out of. If anything, people won't be so quick to check out your recordings.
