Well it finally happened.....

So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Well it finally happened.....

I'm sitting in my fraternity house chillen in the chapter room playing my brand new Martin. It's just me and my boy jamming.....Good times. So it's DAMN nice out today and we've all been drinking............a lot......Good times still. Now my friend and I take the jamming outside to the amazing weather. Now I've got my Martin and he's got the Taylor 314-KCE(one used in ALL the video's). We continue to jam for a little as people are around and then everyone starts to congregate around the front of the house....where we are playing. We break into a couple songs that people know the words to(not all DMB of course) and it's good times. Then the ladies start showing up.......even better times. So obviously the ol' geeeetar starts to attract the fine drunk girls on an amazing spring day. This one girl starts to chill next to me obviously flirting. She's asking to play all these songs that I don't know and I'm like, "Listen, lemme play one just for you." I break out #41.....and now please remember, I really CANNOT sing. I am not even trying to sell myself short....I really can't. So I'm singing along playing the entire thing perfectly(obviously :D ). When I say sinigng I mean softly singing/speaking the words. Needless to say this girl's obviously going crazy. So she whispers in my ear, "How about you give me a private concert........." I was like.....ummmmmmm, OK. We walk to my room and before I get a chance to put my guitar down she grabs me and starts kissing me and pulls me onto my bed. I hear something that sounds wierd.........and then it hit me what I had heard..................THE BACK OF MY GUITAR SMACKED THE BED AND THERE WAS A CRACK FROM LEFT TO RIGHT ACROSS MY GUITAR. My first reaction was HOLY FUCKING SHIT. It has finally happened, I have used my new guitar to get some ass.........and in the same damn moment BROKE IT!!! Then I looked down and saw this blazing girl on my bed, tossed the guitar aside and then my alarm woke me up...IT WAS ALL A DREAM!!!!!!!! :lol: :lol: I didn't get ass....but my guitar is ok. Is that good???? Ha, that really did happen last night, just thought people would enjoy hearing........peace

So that was a dream or just a madeup story right? Im still waiting for the day when the guitar pays off with some ass but I hope I dont brake it in the process. But you didnt anyways, right?

Well, if you had gotten ass, it might have been worth it--if she was incredibly hot. Even then, it probably wouldnt have. But shit man, way to go on the guitar playing getting you some. I always joke with my buddies who play that when you start playing, you think you're going to hook up all the time just cause you can play, but it never actually happens. At least for me, heh. Congrats on breaking the cycle, but I think a statement was made by the guitar gods regarding using the force for evil.

EDIT: I totally thought that was true until you edited you post. Punk. :D

well I don't know if it was the guitar playing..... but it did happen once.
I am actually amazed what some girls will do when they see a nice car... like mine (look left) but those are the kind of girls I would definately never want to hook up with.... when the topic comes around to cars I usually just say I drive a ford... or a mustang if they ask for specifics, maybe they can see it on the 3rd date = )

anyways the whole reason I wrote this post, what fraternity are you a member of>?
