for some reason, it always takes me two times to login.. don't know if it happens to anyone else or not, but i know its not because of the wrong passwird or something because it happens everytime

That was happening to me too, but I found that if I just logged in to check my private messages, instead of logging in on the main forum that it wouldn't mess up on me.

What i have found worked , which also removed the problems with posts not being highlighted after login ...

After you press logout , go clear your cookies and cache ... that should do it ...
