Cover songs?

Post by goodboy85 »

In about three weeks me and my band are going to play on one of these small wonderful gigs for just some friends.
does anyone of you know some really nice songs to play?
other songs we are doing are by eric clapton, tracy chapman or norah jones...
my band just contains our female singer, me on the acoustic, then one playing percussions and another one playing sax and flute.
it would be nice to see some suggestions!

Ray charles
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away
