A friend let me borrow the Tenacious D cd a few days ago and it is hilarious! I thought it would be not well prepared but it is actually not bad. Naturally, I am wanting to learn a few songs of the cd and for the most part they are fairly simple. But does anyone know how to play the Tribute song? I have everything down excpet for this part: He asked us, Be you angels? We said no, we are but men! Rock! What chords do they use here if you guys know? Thanks
That part is the same as the same as the verse...The part after rock is different chords though. I think it uses D, F, Am, C, and G in some order for the yelling part.
Random movie quote to make you seem hip and "with it": "I once saw this in a movie, it was about a bus that had to keep it's "speed" above 50, and if it's "speed" dropped, it would explode...I think it was called "The Bus That Couldn't Slow Down"!

yea.. I had to play it to remember. I know a lot of D songs but I know them all by feel I think.
