dave with a capo

hey everyone...i was looking around and found this pic of dave....looks old school b/c hes got the chet...but anyway i was wondering if anyone knows what song he might be playing with it....the capo looks like its on the 4th fret...i guess thats raised G#...but anyway...any help would be appreciated....ill catch ya'll on the flipside....

Thats odd, the only song I know of that he plays with a capo is Good Good Time, but that obviously was created way after he stopped playing the Chet.

This is driving me crazy, cause this topic has been discussed before only i can't remember what the fuck the answer was. I'd say it was about a year or more ago but the search isn't doing it for me. Anyway, there's an answer to this question and i don't remember what it is :wink:

That's not a capo...it's a sliver of the mic stand that obviously couldn't be cut out because it was over the guitar. He has used a capo only once before and, as someone said above, it was recently on Good Good Time

well if that is a hack job....its a damn good one...it just seemed odd to me that its so small and the mic stand would cover more of the guitar in the original pic...so y not get rid of the whole thing? i aint doubting ya'll but thanks for info and its still a great pic no matter what....

i have the picture of that somewhere. the real one. i dont feel like finding it unless you guys really want it.

but i've deffinately seen it, and it IS the mic stand. i did a drawing of that exact picture. so i'm pretty familiar with it

I've seen some tabs that cheat on Satellite and capo the fourth.
