Tuning Help (Michael Hedges - Aerial Boundareis)

hey anyone ever hear of michael Hedges? i found a video of him playing a song called Aerial Boundaries and was wondering if anyone has any other vids or songs by him i could hear..... i really want to learn this song

its in the tunning CCDGAD

how can i even get to this tunning... help needed by u experts.. thanks bye

Low E down to C (2 Steps)
A up to C (1.5 Steps)
D stays the same
G stays the same
B down to A (1 step)
E down to D (1 step)

is there any chance of the a string breaking if i tune it up 1.5 steps to c?

It's not impossible. But it definitely has to be tuned up. Down and it would just be a flopping mess.

not really since its such a thick string, but keeping the guitar in this tuning for extended period may cause some stress issues depending upon the quality of the guitar

I've heard of Michael Hedges, and I know that he's "kind of" good at playing the guitar....

I stray away from such skill oriented playing, but if I had that bastard Fat Jack's knowledge and skill I'd defin. tackle dat shit.
