I need some help on what I should buy to record my guitar and vocals..whats the absolute best?!

the absolute best is too expensive. i myself used a $10 walmart mic until my mom vacuumed it lol

I also just use a 10$ mic and some software i got for free.

I just barrowed a digi001 from my brother. Pretty spendy about a G$. As far as hookin some stuff to you box it works well, the output is limited (1/4" only), I need to get an adapter so i can use my computer speakers. A friend might lend me his 12" JBL monitors though if i'm lucky :wink: I still have to learn pro tools though :cry: See the link below for more info. Another buddy claims the digi stuff is very propreitary. I don't know dic about it though.
