Its called a resonator guitar. I dont think you can isntall anything on a regular guitar to make it a resonator

oh, i saw on ebay a kit. but it was made by either johnson or hohner, so it is probably complete shit.

they have high action and the "hubcap" makes the sound unique. mostly they're used as lapguitars or at least slide guitars. but they're unique cause you CAN use them as regular guitars.

get mad mike to install the pickup,big dane to chrome it out, ish will make a customized leather strap.
