I NEED HELP!

i have a taylor 714ce and im changing the batteries for the first time. HOW can i take them out? the stupid stock batteries have yellow paper around them to "Stop rattling" and all it is doing is jamming the second battery. any tips please? ive been working on this for an hour and its pissin me off! thanks

ps. sorry if this should be in the musicians gear forum

If it's in a holder, try flipping the battery horizontally while inside the holder so that it's got a smaller face facing the outside of the holder, and then pull it out. I've never examined a Taylor battery clip, though.
