Most Poetic/Meaningful DMB songs/mix

Post by shess22 »

I need advice on another cd.

I want to make a cd for my amazing/hot/brilliant english teacher. I want the cd to be strictly DMB, because I am trying to introduce their music to her. Earlier in the year, I was having an obsession with Dreaming Tree, so I printed out the lyrics and showed them to her and she found them very interesting. I would like to put a few of the dmb songs with the most poetic/meaningful lyrics on a cd, accompanied by the lyrics printed out, and gave it to her for an end of the year present. Yea, it all sounds very gay, but she has been a great teacher and I want to show my appreciation.

So far all I have for sure I think are DT and YNK. Your suggestions are greatly appreciated and I have to do this by tonight so...

Thanks.

Now about THK, JYL, S, B, WETN, LKO, or my perosnal favorite CIM.

No matter how amazing this cd is... you're still never, ever going to get her in the sack.

I thought Cry Freedom was about Biko, not Hani. I could be wrong however.

Good choice of DDTW/Central Park. The extended prelude is so haunting and amazing in that it gives me chills and a hard on at the same time.
Forget about the reasons and the treasons we are seeking
Forget about the notion that our emotions can be swept away, kept at bay
Forget about being guilty, we are innocent instead
For soon we will all find our lives swept away

prelude? is that just the fiddling before they start it on CP? or is that a planned thing?
