No, but Rolling Stone Magazine does a article every year with the top 50 grossing bands of that year, and DMB is nearly always in the top 10. So that gives you an idea

if i understand correctly, that's how much money their tour tickets pull in. it doesn't include album sales or anything of the sort, nor does it take into account how much of the money goes to the band. so it's really more like the "which bands make the most money for their record companies" article.DMBassist52 wrote:No, but Rolling Stone Magazine does a article every year with the top 50 grossing bands of that year, and DMB is nearly always in the top 10. I think it includes album sales brock. Cause I remember Rolling Stones were the top grossing in 03 because they had a tour, 40 Licks cd release, and 4 Flicks DVD release which collectively raked in mad cash. Ill check on their site and see though cause now Im interested.bbatsell wrote:if i understand correctly, that's how much money their tour tickets pull in. it doesn't include album sales or anything of the sort, nor does it take into account how much of the money goes to the band. so it's really more like the "which bands make the most money for their record companies" article.DMBassist52 wrote:No, but Rolling Stone Magazine does a article every year with the top 50 grossing bands of that year, and DMB is nearly always in the top 10. That is just Dave though. I remember hearing 75 million for the Band, but that seems a bit high.DMBassist52 wrote:http://www.rollingstone.com/news/story/_/id/5939025

Yeah your right, Coldplays not a threat. But the stones have a fall tour, which will sell out practically every show, so I think they will win. I forget about McCartney too, he has a fall tour as well, and his tickets cost mad $$$.filmdude100cms wrote:coldplay wont top them. the stones might though
