I don't like it either. The black Chet is the only thin bodied acoustic I really like.

how am i being an ass, i said the guitars dont look cool. never insulted you. and that one i posted, i mean jesus look at it. also i think the t5 does look cool, not sound good, but looks cool. sorry if my opinions on looks distress you so.

what these new gibsons? well for one i havent enjoyed a single solid body guitar ive played with a soundhole. it isnt needed, wont amplify, just there for looks, and on these
they are somewhat hollow. but a chambered body will give more amplification and more sound depth than an inch maybe of a body to work with. also if im buying a thin body acoustic, im using it as a stage guitar. no one should have a chest like guitar that just sits at home with no amp playing. theyre stage guitars. so a hollow body will give some feedback these shouldnt have that. like the chet is feeback free. as well if your buying this because it looks like an acoustic, but plays like an electric, get an acoustic and have it set up so the action is lower. same playability, more for your needs. just not my cup of tea.

Have you played one to have an opinion on their sound? I have and thought they were very good quality guitars and a fine new addition to the acoustic-electric world.
