If my tickets say this.- Randalls-..(???)

If you have tickets for the show at randalls island that say sec. GA row. GA2.. is that close to the stage? or way out there in the field. I didnt know there would be any real trouble getting close up. question for you guys going in july.

i think I THINK, dont quote me, but its gonna be like CP where theres a small seating section, but since your GA means general admition. run like hell to get close. youve got lawn

Ouch. Hey thanks, So you think if me and my girlfriend get there early and run real fast being at that show wont be like watching from space? In other words if I get to the very front, will that still be pretty decent? or will daves guitar look like a small round blob? Gates open at 12. Should I get there that early and dig my feet in the ground and wait seven hours? Man.

Oh wait when you say small seating and then general admittion. Will that be like.. a nice little small group, and then just a huge ga group of people? that wont be to bad the space between us general admission people wont be fixed, so could we just run and squeeze through slowly? that would work real good for me.

show up early and run as fast as you can is probably your best bet

well i dont know how much of a seating area there is, but it wont be tooo big, look at your CP... oh well fuck it heres your venue...

your in that lawn area, so run like hell or else youll be pretty far back, seems like the seating is larger than i though.

Oh awesome. Thanks everyone for the info. Im sure itll be fine wherever I end up. I was worried the lawn was going to be super small and full of drunken people yelling and smashing guitars over there head.. well hey it might be but if i get close enough it should be cool.

I got the very best lawn seating at the Golden Gate Park show cause I got there pretty early, maybe 500 people ahead of me, but it was a good distance from where they were checking tickets, So I was able to out run most everyone and dive with a blanket right in the front,.
im the asshole that calls dibs and takes up as much room as he can.

yeah randalls island is a big field. so first come first serves. went there for the wrap tour its a shitty venue
