Jesus titty f*cking christ that was aweseome. One thing i noticed was that toward the end of the song it looked like he uses one of "Dave's chords" from #41 intro. anyone else see that??? Makes me want to learn the uke.

Uke is easy to pick up and the chords are not difficult to learn. Most chord formations are two fingers. Finger picking comes a little later and helps with your guitar technique. (EDIT: Yeah, this guys is very, very good. Don't want to come off like I think what this cat is doing is basic, because it's not!!!! LOL!)

This guy's instrument is very nice and in order to get such a sweet tone you'd have to spend the big $$$.

In case you're interested, most ukes are tuned GCEA and I believe the one in the video is a Soprano uke.

For more info, goto the Musician's Gear forum.

peace,

Carl

I spent a weekend at my friends grandparents house over spring break. Her grandma was a uke nut, she had over 15 $500+ uke's. Needless to say I learned a lot that weekend. But she has this cd of an amazing uke player with shit like the mario brothers theme, flight of the bumble bee, midnight sonata and shit like that. He was fuckin good.

Check out "Ep.3 Complete Episode"! That duo of the girl and the guy is amazing!
For all my posts, just add "I think" in the beginning and "in my opinion" in the end. Now shut up!
