I get to play in front of many people and i need your help.

I volunteered with another guitarist (and maybe a bassist) to play an instrumental song at my schools latin honor society induction ceremony. we just got the info today and its this thursday. The guitarist im working with has alot of talent, but is into the emo/punk/rock/screamo scene. I was wondering if any of you guys had a suggestion as to what song to play. I thought it ,ight be best just to write one because of the strange dynamic the group has. thoughts?

well it has to be instrumental... and im not sure thats best for a National Latin Honors society induction.... but a great idea otherwise

oh, haha, ok. thought you were serious.

as much as this sounds lame, how about a los lonely boys tune. that have that great fusion/mex sound that would be technically great to play live, and wouldnt be overtly "Viva La Raza!!!"
