multieffects = bad

I saw one at guitar center about a year ago that they had displayed in the back section of the acoustic guitar room (where all the nice ones are) and it was a pedal with a lime green color...i wish i could remember the name of it, but it was pretty sweet. it was able to make your guitar sound thicker, 12-string, different octaves, all that stuff. It was sweet. I just wish I could give you a name though. Sorry.

This isn't the lime green one I was talking about earlier...that one was about $500.)

personally man i'd buy multiple effect pedals, they tend to be better sound quality...get a loop, wah, delay, maybe even chorus. that seems to be a good beginning arrangement.

did you mean "non multi effects"? because those are the better quality.

i still think multis have their place, i have an rp80 and while i dont consider it worthy of performances or recording, it makes just sittin around playin my guitar more fun

I'm not a big fan of multi effects, and for acoustic you don't really need that many. Just some nice reverb, chorus, and delay.

i agree. using several single effect pedals tied together gives you more capacity to tweak your sound.

i think my wah is my favorite pedal. start there.
