so i might be a bit late but...

This is the official..................I want to make an unbiased judgement of the new album so primarily, I am not going to listen to the new clips and secondly and most importantly, I am NOT going to read your opinions about them.... THREAD

Ive already listened. But im not going to bitch and moan or say how wonderful it is. I WILL wait for the album b4 i judge. However dreamgirl sounds pretty cool!

I think it is good and healthy to read what others think about things. "Good" and "bad" are such relative terms that you need to hear what other people think to keep your idea of "good" relevant.

Plus I just think it's fun to get excited about the new album.

It's good to get excited about an album but when everyone starts saying.........this is crap..........stupid rap producer.........dmb will never be the same..... it will affect your perception of the album when you first hear it. I'd just rather have a fresh listen.

Fellow UK man, dont say people "suck" just because people dont like your thread! I mean, there has already ready been a million threads about the new album, do we need another? Why dont we just wait for the new album. Its what? less than 4 weeks away?

Brock....nope, I haven't read the previews thread. I don't plan to either.
In a similar way, if everyone is saying that these are fresh and fantastic, I don't want to read that either. I'd rather make up my own mind.

I hesitate to say anything negative right now. I will wait until I hear the full songs, and the full album.

The fact that Batson has done rap, r&b, etc.. in the past does make me think i won't like this. But I'm trying to think of it like this: if I didn't have the internet, access to all this info and gossip about the album, i'd pick it up at Best Buy on 05/10, and I would either like it or I wouldn't. When my pre order arrives on 05/10 I'll either like it or I won't, and it has nothing to do with the producer.

The point of this thread is to see who else has decided not to listen to the leaked clips and actually make up their own mind about the album instead of following the norm like sheep branding this another Everyday.

How the hell can anyone really judge the new album before it's released?

Anyway, I don't like to jump to conclusions without knowing the facts, I do know I don't like American Baby, as I find it boring and lacking the swelling choruses that make DMB so damn good.
