Selling Electric Guitar (Les Paul Double Cutaway) Online?

Post by jsgksu »

Ok, I am yet again selling a guitar for my uncle (third one) I got rid of his Martin (ebay & a check) and his Taylor (Acoustic Guiat Forum through paypal) and on both he lost like $50.00 on the deal because of ebay and paypal surcharges. He has a Gibson Les Paul Faded Double Cutaway he wants to sell and its only worth half of what the other two were worth. Id like to try and sell it without using ebay or paypal, anyone know a site on the net where you can sell electric guitars. Like I said I used the Acoustic Guitar Forum instead of ebay last time but they dotn sell electrics so I dont know where else to try and sell it.

Heres a pic if anyones interested and if you know of a site to use and wanna let me know, thanks a lot.

Heres the specs for the guitar: Solid mahogany body and set neck add to the resonance and great sustain while classic P90 single coil pickups provide the sharp bite of the very first Les Pauls. Rosewood fretboard. (It normally comes with a gig bag but my uncle paid extra for a deluxe case.

The guitar is only a few years old and he pretty much never touched it (hes an acoustic player that thought he might need an electric, after a few years of never playing it he realized he didnt)

The guitar normally sells for around $650.00 with a soft case, he paid $800.00 for it new after he bought the hard shell case. Hes asking for $700.00 shipped. Let me know if youre interested (and if you know of a better site to sell it on)

They are P-90 pickups. Single coil but have like 20% more coil than fender single coils.........they sound a little like a mix between single coils and humbuckers, but are definatley original sounding. They used them more often back in the 60's and 50's than today.
