Lonely Stranger cover

Post by You_Enjoy_Myself »

I promised I'd record this in another thread, so here it is Eric Clapton's Lonely Stranger. It's by no means perfect, but I think it turned out alright. I did all the guitar, and sang on the chorus, and my friend sang the verses. Please critique the shit out of it, and ENJOY.

hellllll yes. I love your stuff.

This is amazing. The guitar is absolutely solid. Fantastic work. It's really awesome. Your mic sounds great. The vocals were pretty good. They could use some touching up, but it sounded good nonetheless.

Great job though. I really loved it.

Fabulous playing period. I really like the fills too.
The vocals were not that good to be brutally honest. You're friend was too breathy and had consistant pitch problems. Your falsetto on the chorus, although not perfect, was a solid effort though. You guys just need more confidence with the vocals.

I was doing the lower register on the chorus and the "I'll be on my way's" at the end. My friend has got a really good voice, but I agree, he just wasn't belting it out like he can. We're gonna do more stuff together, so you'll see that he has got a great voice.

Thanks for the comments guys.

YES YES YES!!!! I freaking love this song. So awesome.

Your guitar work was amazing. I know it's already been said, but it really was. Great playing, flawless.

The vocals were ok at best. Need a little work letting go. But you definetly have the ability, you just gotta loosen up a little, and work on it.

Did you use someone else's tab for the song? If so, could you hook me up?

Great job again.

fantastic... more impressed with you on a daily basis mitch.

vocals werent anything special, but there was nothing "wrong" with them. the doubling makes it worse because one of you is off key. itd be like if you were both playing the same song on guitar, but one of you was capoed on one. DISCHORDED

still fantastic
