Just wondering if anyone has any unique or different chord progressions. By that I mean, no first 3 frets, no dave chords, and as little barre chords as possible. I have been trying to expand my chord vocabulary lately. Here is one that I have been using lately in the key of D

Oops. That's kind of weird that I look through hundreds of chords to get something different and I come up with Mayer and WWYS chords. I have never played either.

are you asking about unique chord progressions or chord voicings, because there's nothing unique about that progression...it just has some different voicings

that's what i thought you meant...but just to add to the thread a little, when i try to make unique chord voicings, i try and use open strings as much as i can
