Personaly, that's the only thing I don't like about the look of the chet. To me, they are a sore eye spot.

I have one of these, and I also had a newer sst. They made a lot of improvements! I am interested in selling for a reasonable offer....

Are you kidding!? I've been trying to find this guitar for quite awhile. I have the newer version of the SST and just incredibly happy with it. I was looking for the early model with a natural top. Could ya send me a PM about a price and pics. Cheers!

Awww, come on filmdude! cut me some slack brother.... It is an amazing coincidence this thread popped up because I was just thinking the other day about selling it. I paid 1200 on ebay last summer. It has some wear and I'll be willing to let it go for 1000. Honestly it does not sound nearly as good as the newer SSTs, and I just can't put down my martin john mayer.
