go to http://www.mystupidmouth.com ....they go into full analysis and decided the those tabs aren't correct, for mayer hits the bass note more often.

that tab is bassically right, true no tab is totally correct, but if he hits the bass not as many times as the tab, or as many times as john who would know?

well yeah i mean ill be able to know, others that can play it can tell, but if hes just playin for people no one cares about that.

eh? its all rhythm and timing. Playing extra bass notes wont change anything, it might sound better in your opinion, but the timing will still be the same. If you play less bass notes, durations will just be different.

nah man, sometimes i do all the bass notes, sometimes i dont, sounds similar enough, yeah if were playin for people thay know their shit you need it, but how many people can play neon exactly right, and pay attention enough to know the extra bass hits.

neon is a really fun tune to play, i barely learned it about a week and a half ago *edit* -just the main verse and chorus(end edit). i hate songs that are tuned differently, i.e. led zepplin.
i don't hate mayer or zepplin by any means but its always a drag, but alternate tunes are fully creative and awesome at the same time. i'm just lazy

*edit II* -i've only been to jmtabs.com but their videos are pretty acurate with their tabs.
