stairway to heaven cover

i heard some place dmb coverd this ..... if its 0.01% as good as the original then i wanna track it down.... does it exist.....anyone know where/ have a copy i could trade for something i got

According to this... http://dmbalmanac.com/songs.asp they have never played Stairway to Heaven, and this is damn near, if not 100% accurate. So it doesn't look like they have played it.

ah well thats my hopes crushed,......... be pretty sweet...can only hope/ shout it at concerts in the hope they learn it

i thought i had a recording of them and the flecks doin it...

wait no it was DMB they did watchtower, but instead of the last verse in watchtower they did the last verse in stairway.

i got it if ya want it.

Tim has played the solo to stairway during watchtower on several occassions, and people mislabel it.

well they always do the stairway solo, whether its tim or butch... and i have a recording of dave singing the last verse to stairway instead of watchtower.

Dave once sang the outro lyrics to it during the middle jam. Stairway and Watchtower are in the same key, and the rythm and chord progression is pretty similar, expecially on the outro of stairway. They've done this only once, to my knowledge.

they did it once and it was only one part of it...the faster part that has the same progession as watchtower
