Books on Soloing/Scales/Improvising

Post by GreyStreet41 »

What are some books that you guys may have bought that really helped you out with learning how to solo or use scales to help improvise during songs? I know the pentatonic major scales for like G,C,D,E, A but I know there is more to it and I find myself sounding the same.

Then I get around a guy this week who is a "drummer" and he can rip stuff better than me on my guitar(highly embarressing), even though his family is musically enlightened, but anyways, I just wanna improve, any books or resources you guys or gals might now?

I highly suggest learning to read music. It makes learning theory/scales 100x easier.
