buying a capo... need help.

ok so my girlfriend being the smart lovely lady she is got me a gift certificate to the nearest guitar place cuz she doesn't know anything about guitars or about their accessories or anything...

so i am looking to buy a capo and i was just wondering is there like a particular one out there that has a good quality/price ratio?

all help appreciated i don't know much about capos

its a capo not much to know just get one that holds allllllllll the strings down tightly.

yea, the only one you should get is the kyser 6 string capo i got mine for 20 bucks but that was a small guitar shop and they most likely ripped me off

NO DO NOT GET A KYSER!!

get a shubb!!

kysers apply too much pressure. it makes the strings go sharp easily, and increases fretware.

shubbs have adjustable pressure.

Kysers are cheap capos. They work, but they do cause more wear.

For the record, I use a Kyser because I'm not capoed a lot and frankly don't care enough to pay more for a Shubb, but please don't spout stuff if you don't know what you're talking about.

A. because it shows it must not do that much wear if he uses it on his thousands of dollar guitars.
B. because many people on this board buy stuff because dave uses them.

my brother has a kyser because he didnt have the extra money to just buy a shubb i think.....or because the kyser ones are jsut easier to take on and off.
