why do u have that yarn around the nut on your 2 electrics? whats that for?

Because Vic does it

It's supposed to deaden the strings when you're tapping. If you drag the yarn/hair tie down to like the 4th or 5th fret before you start a tapping riff/solo, you don't get the open string tones when you let off the notes.

I don't play bass but they look nice, how do you like that acoustic ibanez bass, the bass player in my band just got one 2 months ago and he doesn't really like it, I forget why, just curious on your opinion

as far as acoustic basses go... it sucks ass. but in a pinch when you wanna randomly go to the beach and play guitar with your buddies around a bonfire, its fine, or somewhere where you can't plug in. otherwise, i don't play it.

what i need is the 900 dollar tacoma acoustic bass at my guitar center... that thing purrs.
