So you're amazed as to how Dave's rhythm guitar slaps and strums so "perfectly"...but you can't. Ask all things about Dave and his guitars here.

Is this song played the same on L@LC and on the live cds? They sound a bit differently. If they are different, does anyone have the tab for the L@LC cd?

I think I know what he is talking about. I don't have Luther with me at home to verify this (its at work) so I may be wrong....but I do think Dave plays the intro differently on Luther.

Instead of the normal beginning:

Code: Select all

Intro/Jam
E:-----------------------------
B:-----------------------------
G:-----------------------------
D:-----10--10------12--10--10--
A:-12----------12--------------
E:-----------------------------
   3 1 1 3 4 1 1
I think he plays around this chord (the last chord of "fall back again"):

Code: Select all

E:---------
B:----------
G:------7---
D:------x---
A:------8---
E:-10--10--
I'm not sure...maybe someone can verify this.
You're only as strong as the tables you dance on.

you can just play:

A:------8--8--------8-
E:-10---------10------

over and over again. L@LC

basically the intro is the same pattern as the regular intro, just starting on the D note (tenth fret) of the low E.
