two step and proudest monkey at the forest benefit 3-14-99.
tims intro and solo to two step and the solo to proudest monkey are awesome. i think dave loves playing with the band but i think he really loves playing songs with tim cause there's two guitar players. just think if tim came over and solo'd over some of your dmb playing.....shit.

March 20, 2003. I don't care what they play, this is one show I'm anticipating like mad. It was Luther College that got me into DMB and it's the only show I've ever hoped to see - a Dave and Tim show. While very happy with the many DMB shows I've seen, I honestly thought I'd never get the chance to see just Dave and Tim. Granted I had to shell out $200 per ticket  but I don't care, I just need to see these guys in person once in my lifetime. And that time is 2 1/2 weeks away! :D

ants marching from L@LC is great.
man, i saw tim solo one time. it was nuts. he played a 5 minute finger drum solo. he is an amazing guitar player but there is a reason he doenst back up dave w/ a punchboard. also, satelite on luther is sweet. man, that cd is just so good. D@MN.

hahah thanx IronMike, at least i know i'm no the only crazy bastage paying $200 a ticket...

on another note, my favortie tim and dave performance is the VH1 storytellers version of Tripping Billies...not because of the song itself but because I havn't seen any other video where you can watch Dave play TB and at the same time see Tim's left hand on the left side of the screen going crazy with one of his solos...that right there does it for me

the entire vh1 storytellers with dave and tim is so awesome....the two songs I like most would have to be Tripping Billies and Crush....the part where tim and dave play together at the end of crush is the shit.
