whats a good site for learning time signatures? i wanna get mine cleaner

You can buy any kind of book and learn about them. You can really "gt cleaner" time signatures.

Please let me know what you think a timd sidnature is so I know where to start.

time signatures are set as beats to measures. So 4/4 would be 4 beats and 4 measures. Beats include mutes, rests everything. I know time signatures, i just have some trouble picking them out at time and I really cant seem to get a grasp on the complicated ones.

four-four time is four quarter note beats in one measure.

count outloud 1-2-3-4. Each time you say a number, that is a quarter note beat. This means that the number on top in 4/4 is how many beats one measure gets. the number below denotes how many of that note are in one measure. so 6/8 time is six eigth notes in one measure, 2/4 time is 2 quarter notes in one measure, etc. that's just rubbing the surface. i suggest a theory book or class, that will explain it much better. it is very hard to explain over the internet.

I alwasy count 8th notes...I find it easier in a song that is 19/8...and yes there is one..Im listening to it.
