Best Dave Moment ??

Post by DSeibel »

Guys

Just thought I would ask what your favorite Dave moment is, weather its to do with a signifigant other, or a show, etc...lets hear them.

Mine is.....I remember camping once, and the stars were very bright, me and the girl I was seeing decided to lay out in the open and stare up. Then while we were laying there, Crush came on the mixed CD I had playing in the car. It was a great moment cause everything I wanted to say to her that night Dave said in that song.

It was a pretty awesome moment, when Dave said, "I'd like to introduce to you a good friend of mine. Neil Young!" At the VFC tour 10-6-4 in Ames, IA. Then they proceeded to rock the roof off of the stadium (rock the roof off the barn if you want to make fun of Iowans).

I've got a couple...

First off, my favorite moment is when I took my family to watch night 3 of the Gorge this year. Although Dave's voice cracked toward the end, they put on a very good show. Joyride that night was intense, and Two Step was freaking great. It was such a clear night too. Family liked the show, just a beautiful time it was.

Second, was on St. Patty's day last year. A lady friend of mine who I'd been trying to get with for a while came over. We hung out, drank a couple, had some fun. I put some Dave on the ol' Winamp player and we made out all night (ohh, how sweet, a drunken makeout). Anyhow, we're still together and doing great, but I thank Dave (and alcohol) for a bit of a hand there.

Mine is similar, but it was say goodbye. My ex and I were finally hanging out after like 7 months... and we were heading to a party when it came on randomly in my iPod. She says "isn't this about sex?" I was like, "one night stand" she just looked at me sorta funny like... we ended up hooking up however, thank you Dave!

Kissing my girlfriend to Crash in 95' (We broke up 4 years later). Seeing Dave & Tim Twice at my college (8th row both times). Seeing James Brown & Dave Matthews dancing together at MSG in 2002.
Hearing "So Damn Lucky" as an Encore at Penn Sate for the the Dave & Friends opener. (Shrooming hardcore)

Also, Utah 09-08-04... my two friends and I went (guy and girl) and during the Everyday/36 encore we all were holding eachothers shoulders (arms locked) and swaying singing "Honey Honey, come and dance with me!" for about 5 minutes. They're my best friends and I haven't seen them for more than a month now when I used to see them everyday. It was awesome though!
