so i was lounging in the piccadily the other evening, thinking of how wicked it would be if all of us could get together and jam... but alas we are spread across the globe and half of us are child molesters (filmdude)
so i got the idea of a lifetime... mmmkay heres waht we gonna do... im gonna lay down the base of a jam (i was thinkin what would you say jam) and post the recording. then all you people out there in cyberspace are gonna download it, play it in headphones and add your own little thing. then some of the more better jammers can add to the length of the jam with jams from songs like all along the watchtower and jimi thing. you will then send your recordings back to me and i will compile them. to get every thing aligned correctly i would put a 4 step beat at the beginning with the 4 beat being a note, evrybody that added to the recording would play that note on cue in their recording. then all id have to do is align the notes and blammo! instant guitar craziness. of course if your jam was completely off beat, or a poor recording i would have to disinclude it for the better of the group. but in the end i dream of a 10 minute or so jam with scat parts and a buttload of guitars (like 15!) it has mind blowage potential!I of course reserve the right to market said jam!
i wanted to get everyones opinions before i posted the first part of it so you were ready and i didnt get people all like "this will never work" "this is the dumbest thread ever" "how are you gonna align it?" and "go die andy" if you guys think its a good idea... and i think it is.... then i can prolly post the base later tonight! give me the okay!
